Second lieutenant AJ Kedge is in his first season as a volunteer coach with the Falcons’ distance program. Kedge, who graduated from the Academy in 2022, will assist the distance squad while serving as a learning strategies instructor at USAFA.
A native of Albuquerque, N.M., Kedge is the second member of his family to serve as a volunteer coach with the Falcons’ program following a four-year running career at Air Force. As a senior, Kedge ran on the cross country team that captured the Mountain West title and debuted on the program’s Top 25 standings in both the mile and 5000-meter events.
Following his stint at the Academy, Kedge will head to Hanscom AFB, Mass., to start his career as an acquisitions officer.
