All Air Force Academy home and away intercollegiate athletic events will be held as scheduled during the government shutdown. Funding for these events, along with travel/logistical support will be provided by the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). HIGH SCHOOL: Kaneland High School...three-time all-state selection in track and field...six-time all-conference honoree (two times in cross country, four times in track)...set school record in the 1600-meter run (4:19.21)...also ran on the 4x800-meter relay team that set a KHS-record time of 7:49.33...named Student of the Term for English...selected to the Honor Roll for the National Scholastic Press Association (Journalism)...ranked within top 15 of graduating class. PERSONAL: Son of David and Heidi Kintz...has one younger sister...majoring in political science...future plans include becoming a fighter pilot...hobbies include skiing, golfing, disc golf and hiking...is the only redhead in entire family (cousins included)...one grandfather served in the Army, while the other grandfather and an uncle served in the Air Force...member of Cadet Squadron 29.
