Kale Pearson is in his fourth season as the director of recruiting at the Air Force Academy. He came to the Academy after working as an operations manager for Amazon in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Pearson served on active duty prior to that, serving as a logistics officer. He served as the deployment officer of the 552nd Air Control Wing at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., from May 2019 to March 2021. He was responsible for the planning and execution of the wing deployments and training exercises.
Prior to that assignment, Pearson served as a flight commander at the 49th logistics readiness squadron at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, from July 2016 to July May 2019, where he was responsible for ensuring the receipt, storage and issue of aircraft assets and jet fuel totaling $94 million. He deployed with Special Operations Joint Task Force between assignments.
Pearson began his Air Force career as a graduate assistant coach at the Academy from May 2015 to July 2016. He helped the Falcons to the 2015 Armed Forced Bowl and a Mountain West Championship appearance while on staff.
Pearson is a 2015 graduate of the Academy, where he was a three-year letterman. He was the team captain as a senior in 2014 and won the coveted Brian Bullard Memorial Award, the highest honor a football player at Air Force can earn that year. Pearson helped the Falcons to a 10-3 season, the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy, and a 2014 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Championship.
Pearson and his wife, Caitie, have two children, Keegan (6) and Bannon (3).
