Brooks returns to the Air Force women's basketball staff in 2026-27 as an assistant coach. A 2011 USAFA graduate, Brooks opens his third stint at the Academy and second with the Falcon women. Brooks initially served as the military assistant coach under former head coaches Andrea Williams (2014-15) and Chris Gobrecht (2015-17). Brooks made his initial return with the men’s team from 2023-25 after manning assistant roles at both the United States Merchant Marine Academy (2018-22) and Siena College (2022-24). This year, Brooks returns to USAFA on the heels of a one-season run with the Lipscomb men’s basketball team in 2025-26 as the offensive advisor. Brooks helped guide the Bisons offense, predicated on pace, spacing, and shooting, to one of the fastest offenses in Division I hoops.
In his most recent run with the Air Force men, Brooks served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. For the Falcons, he was a key component in the program’s scouting efforts, had a heavy hand in player development and served as the team’s academic and admissions liaison.

A four-year letterwinner and captain of the 2011 Falcon men, Brooks averaged 10 points and five rebounds per game while shooting 49% from the field and 43% from three-point range. As a competitor, Brooks was named an NCSA All American and a Bob Spear Award recipient.
Following graduation, Brooks was a member of the bronze medal winning 2011 All-Armed Forces team at the International SHAPE Tournament in Mons, Belgium. He also competed for the 2012 All-Air Force team which won the gold medal at the 2012 Armed Forces Championships.
