Zack Curran enters his fourth season on the Air Force men's basketball staff in 2024-25. After serving as director of operations in 2020-21, Current was elevated to assistant coach in 2022-23.
Curran comes to the Academy after two seasons as the director of basketball operations at George Mason, where he was responsible for all travel logistics and COVID safety protocols, managed all recruiting operations and coordinated program and player needs with every university department. He also assisted the staff with video scouting projects and skill development plans.
Before his time with the Patriots, Curran was the director of Hoop Group Elite Camps, a series of elite basketball camps considered a world leader in college exposure and skill instruction for high school athletes. As the director, he handled recruitment and logistics for the camps and tournaments.
Curran worked as an assistant coach at Marymount University in Arlington, Va., for the 2015-16 season. He is a 2015 graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor's degree in economics.
