USAF Academy, Colo. - Air Force men's basketball (3-14, 0-6 MW) fell to Nevada (12-5, 4-2 MW), 81-66, in Mountain West action Saturday afternoon at Clune Arena. Freshman forward Lucas Hobin led the Falcons with 22 points and six three's.
Despite a season-high for points in a MW game, the Falcons could not overcome Nevada's hot shooting. The Wolf Pack shot 53 percent from the field and from three-point range. Guard Corey Camper led Nevada with 23 points and nine rebounds.

The Falcons battled back the rest of the half, out-scoring Nevada 13-10 to make it a 40-29 game at halftime. The Falcons made seven three's in the opening half, with five different players accounting for a three.
Air Force hung tough with Nevada in the second half, but could not overtake the Wolf Pack. Air Force scored 37 points in the second half, knocking down seven more three's to give the team a season-high 14 three's on the day.
Air Force was also strong from the free throw line, making all six attempts. The Falcons also had 17 assists on the day, its second-most this season.

Joining Hobin in double figures scoring were Ethan Greenberg and Wesley Celichowski. Greenberg scored 13 points, knocking down three three's. Celichowski scored 11 points, grabbing four rebounds and adding two steals.
