All Air Force Academy home and away intercollegiate athletic events will be held as scheduled during the government shutdown. Funding for these events, along with travel/logistical support will be provided by the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). FRESHMAN (2009): Competed in the high jump during the indoor and outdoor season...led the team during the outdoor season with a clearance of 5[apos]3' at the Front Range Invitational...placed fourth at that meet...recorded an indoor-best height of 5[apos]2¼' at the Robert Shine Invitational...also placed fourth at that meet.

HIGH SCHOOL: Qualified for the 2008 Indiana state track and field championships in both the high jump and pole vault...recorded a personal-best clearance of 5[apos]4¼' in the high jump.

PERSONAL: Majoring in English...future plans include working in the public affairs field...named to the Commandant[apos]s List for excellence in military performance...also named to the Athletic Director[apos]s List...hobbies include rock climbing, ice skating, snowboarding, hiking and reading...spent the summer completing Combat Survival Training, Physics 215, Global Engagement and Soaring...member of Cadet Squadron 33.
