SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2024-25: Competed in all four rotational throwing events…recorded a career-best distance of 48’3¼” for a top-10 finish at the Kit Mayer Classic…also posted personal-best distances in the discus (129’11”) and hammer (153’8”) at that meet….competed in the shot put and weight throw during four indoor meets, setting personal-best marks in both at the Colorado Invitational.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2023-24: Did not compete for the track and field team…member of the Falcons’ football team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Bellevue West High School…played football all four years.

PERSONAL: Full name is Arden Jye Jenkins…son of Kitt Jenkins and Naviere Walkewicz…younger brother, Asher, is a sophomore at the Academy and a sprinter on the track and field team…has two other brothers (one older, one younger)…majoring in economics…future plans include becoming a pilot or acquisitions officer…currently serving as a Standards and Evaluations NCO…competed on the Air Force football team as a freshman…attended the Academy’s Prep School…named to the Commander’s List…mother, father, aunt, uncle, and grandfather all served in the military…completed Operation Air Force in Colorado over the summer, learning about Security Force jobs at Peterson SFB and Schriver SFB…also served as Flight NCO for Executioners Alpha during the second session of Basic Cadet Training (“the position is a highly hands-on supervising position, where we are involved int their everyday activities, and it was a blast being able to lead our freshmen this summer”)…member of Cadet Squadron 10.
