JUNIOR YEAR | 2018-19: Scored for Air Force in the 60-meter dash at the Mountain West Indoor Championships...clocked a time of 6.95 to finish sixth in the conference final...registered a career-best time of 6.88 during two meets, including the first round of the MW Championships...that was the third-fastest time on the team during the indoor season...first recorded that time during a win at the Potts Indoor Invitational...earned the team’s Track Athlete of the Week award after that meet...posted a personal-best 200-meter time of 22.72 to finish within the top half of the field at the Colorado Invitational...also competed in the 300-meter dash (career-best 39.24, Air Force Holiday Open) and long jump (personal-best 21’3¼”, Potts Invitational) during the indoor season...participated in the 100-meter dash during seven outdoor meets...clocked a career-best time of 10.80 to finish fifth at the Air Force Twilight Open...added a top-five mark at the CU Invitational (wind-impeded 10.97, fourth).

PERSONAL: Full name is George Edward Brown II...son of George Brown and Molly Tinsley...has one younger sister...majoring in management...future plans include working in a medical- or business-related field...attended the Academy’s Prep School...earned the Vice-Commander’s Rope and Athletic Achievement Rope...enlisted in the Air Force after high school and served as a Client Systems Technician (“it’s the Air Force’s version of ‘Geek Squad’”)...attended tech school at Keesler AFB, Miss., and was then stationed at Incirlik AB, Turkey...hobbies include riding dirt bikes, playing video games and reading...self-proclaimed “huge nerd” and loves anything Star Wars...member of Cadet Squadron 20.
