HIGH SCHOOL: Kearney High School...three-time state medalist (once in cross country, twice in track)...recorded personal-best times of 4:28 (1600-meter run), 1:59 (800-meter run) and 16:28 (5000-meter run)...earned academic all-state honors in both cross country and track.
PERSONAL: Full name is Jackson Patrick McFadden...goes by Jack...son of Patrick and Linda McFadden...has older twin sisters...currently undecided on a major...hobbies include reading, Jeepin’ and hanging with his Bros...once made Minute Rice in 57 seconds...has a weakness for a hot cup of coffee and a nice Haikou...grandfather served in the Army Air Corps and uncle was an officer in the SAC...homegrown Husker fan (“GBR”)...would like to “thank my father for being the man I hope to one day emulate, my mother and sisters for their love and support, and God for the ability to run relatively fast”...member of Cadet Squadron 04.
