HIGH SCHOOL: Finished fifth at the Ohio Regional...served as captain of the track team...member of the soccer and swim teams...graduated with academic honors...involved in Not U[apos]er Typical Sylvania Adventure Club...Eagle Scout. PERSONAL: Son of Bruce and Diane Butcher...has two brothers, Bret (26) and Jake (20)...majoring in systems engineering (mechanical)...plans on being involved in foreign politics after graduation...hobbies include surfing and skiing...spent a year doing missionary work in New Zealand and China for the 'Youth With A Mission' program...attended Ohio State for the spring quarter before returning to the Academy.
