FRESHMAN YEAR | 2023-24: Member of three record-setting relay teams…ran on the 4x100-meter relay that posted an Air Force Record time of 46.82 to win the Spank Blasing Invitational…helped Air Force to program-best 4x400-meter relays during both the indoor (3:42.85, Mountain West Outdoor Championships) and outdoor (3:41.09, Drake Relays)…ran the second leg of the 4x4 relay that used the (then) third-fastest time in program history (3:47.49) to finish eighth out of 22 teams at the UNM Team Open…also impacted the Air Force Top 10 in four individual events…debuted at No. 6 on the program’s all-time 200-meter standings in first collegiate meet, clocking a time of 25.01 to finish second at the Air Force Holiday Open…also entered the Air Force Top 10 for 400 meters at that meet (56.60)…lowered time to 55.89 (No. 5 all-time) at the MW Indoor Championships…tallied career-best outdoor marks in the 100-meter, 200-meter, and 400-meter events during the Falcons’ trip to Southern California…debuted on the program’s all-time standings in the 200-meter dash (24.93, No. 6 all-time) and 100-meter dash (12.40, No. 12 all-time) at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate…added the ninth-fastest 400-meter time in program history the following day at the Beach Invitational…posted a time of 56.14 to finish 10th out of 49 sprinters at that meet…academic all-conference…MW Scholar-Athlete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Signature School…four-time regional qualifier…finished 11th in the 400-meter dash at the Indiana state championships as a junior…recorded a career-best of 58.40 in that event…served as team captain during junior and senior years.

PERSONAL: Full name is Kori Maddison Leverenz…daughter of Nathan and Bonneda Leverenz…has a twin sister…also has one younger brother…majoring in military and strategic studies…earning a minor in Japanese…future plans include going to grad school, before attending UHT to become a helicopter pilot…named to the Superintendent’s List for excellence in military, academic and athletic performance…currently serving as the White Rope for squadron…hobbies include running, drawing, painting, bowfishing, hiking Brazilian jiu-jitsu, rock climbing, movies and music…completed the Powered Flight program over the summer…also took part in Combat Survival Training…member of Cadet Squadron 40.
