SENIOR YEAR | 2018-19: Team captain.
JUNIOR YEAR | 2017-18: Debuted on the Academy’s all-time standings in the javelin throw...recorded a career-best throw of 143’8” to win the Air Force Twilight Open...that is the 10th-best distance in program history...also won the javelin at the Jerry Quiller Classic (131’5”) and NoCo Challenge (134’10”)...earned the team’s Field Athlete of the Week award following the NoCo Challenge...collected three additional top-10 finishes on the season.
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2016-17: Competed in the javelin throw during six meets...recorded a career-best toss of 120’11” to take third at the Air Force Twilight Open...added top-four finishes at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (second, 115’11”) and Aztec Invitational (fourth, 115’0”).
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2015-16: Did not compete for the track and field team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Independent High School...qualified to the state championships in the javelin throw as a senior...also competed in basketball, swimming and volleyball...advanced to the state meet in swimming all four years...served as captain of the basketball, swimming and volleyball teams.
PERSONAL: Full first name is Elizabeth, but goes by Liz...daughter of Don and Mary Beth Jarvis...father is a 1988 Academy graduate...mother went through the ROTC program at the University of Notre Dame...has one older brother...majoring in operations research...future plans include working in aircraft maintenance...served as the Director of Operations for squadron...served as cadre during Basic Cadet Training over the summer...member of Cadet Squadron 06.
