JUNIOR YEAR | 2022-23 – SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2021-22: Did not compete due to injury...received a medical turnback in 2023.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2020-21: Ran the third leg of the 4x1600-meter relay team that posted the third-fastest time in Academy history (16:48.60) at the Drake Relays…competed in the 1500-meter run during three outdoor meets…clocked a career-best time of 3:49.64 (adjusted for altitude) to win the Air Force Twilight Open…added a third-place finish at the Colorado Invitational (3:51.34a)…raced in two 5000-meter events, posting a personal-best time of 14:14.56 at the West Coast Classic…did not compete during the indoor season…academic all-conference selection.
MAJOR CROSS COUNTRY HIGHLIGHTS: Member of the Falcons’ conference championship team in 2021.

PERSONAL: Full name is Nicholas Michael Scheller...goes by Nick…nickname is “Gary”…son of Mike and Kelly Scheller...both parents ran cross country at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay...has two younger brothers, including one (Ben), who is a sophomore on the Air Force cross country and track teams...majoring in management...future plans include becoming a pilot...enthusiast of extreme water sports (“I do things like waterski pyramids, flips while tubing and five people wakeboarding at a time”) …member of Cadet Squadron 25.
