HIGH SCHOOL: Cranston High School…three-time participant at the New Balance Nationals (indoors 2025; outdoors 2024, 2025)…school record holder in the weight throw and hammer throw…received the RIIL Coaches Award in 2024…recorded a career-best distance of 184 feet in the hammer as a senior, improving more than 70 feet over his career…also competed on the cross country team…member of the National Honor Society and Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society…ranked within top 10-percent of senior class.

PERSONAL: Full name is Ryan Jacob Luke…majoring in geospatial science…future plans include becoming a pilot or intelligence officer…hobbies include cooking, baking, playing video games with friends, and learning about military history and urban planning…has a brother that serves in the Army (Beat Army!)…also has a cousin who is professional rock climber…favorite animals are penguins, favorite movie is Top Gun Maverick, and favorite food is rice pudding…would like to thank Coach Greg, for introducing him to throwing, and the Hammerheads team for “helping me become competitive enough throw in college”…member of Cadet Squadron 23.
