JUNIOR YEAR | 2021-22: Recorded the ninth-fastest mile time in Air Force history during a 4:03.33 (adjusted for altitude) performance at the Colorado Invitational…earned runner-up finishes in that event at the Air Force Invitational (4:04.96a) and Air Force Collegiate Open (4:04.95a)…competed in the 3000-meter run once, posting the 24th-fastest time in program history (8:11.38) at the Iowa State Classic…accounted for the Academy’s 16th-fastest 5000-meter time during the outdoor season…raced to a 14:00.14 to tie with his twin brother Sean at the Mt. SAC Relays…finished sixth out of 23 runners in that event at the Stanford Invitational (14:01.33)…competed in the 1500-meter run once, opening the season with a third-place finish at the Jerry Quiller Classic (career-best 3:48.31a).
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2020-21: Led off the 4x1600-meter relay that accounted for the third-fastest time in Academy history (16:48.60) at the Drake Relays…competed in the 5000-meter run during two outdoor meets…clocked a personal-best time of 14:02.93 at the Stanford Invitational…that was the second-fastest time on the team in 2021…competed in the 1500-meter run at the Spank Blasing Invitational, clocking 3:52.59 (adjusted for altitude) to finish sixth out of 61 runners...competed in the mile once during the indoor season…clocked a career-best time of 4:12.67a to place second at the Air Force Invitational.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2019-20: Competed in the mile at the Colorado Invitational, clocking a time of 4:20.36 (adjusted for altitude).
MAJOR CROSS COUNTRY HIGHLIGHTS: All-region selection as a junior…two-time all-conference honoree…claimed first-team status as a junior after placing seventh at the 2021 Mountain West Championships…earned second-team honors as a sophomore (ninth)…helped the Falcons to a team title both years.
HIGH SCHOOL: Wheaton Warrensville High School...all-state selection...finished 13th at the 2018 Illinois High School State Cross Country Championships...member of the team that finished 13th at the Nike Cross Nationals/Midwest Regional...member of the state cross country championship team...earned academic all-state honors.
PERSONAL: Full name is Scott Alan Maison...son of Robert and Jennifer Maison...has a twin brother Sean, who is a junior on the Falcons’ distance team...also has one older sister and one younger brother...majoring in management...future plans include becoming a pilot...hobbies include video games, hydration and playing Club Penguin...fan of Tasmanian devils...member of Cadet Squadron 12.
