FRESHMAN (2010): Competed in the 3000-meter run during two indoor competitions...clocked a career-best 9:26.39 (adjusted for altitude) at the Don Barrett Duals...participated in the mile at the Air Force Invitational...placed 10th at that meet with a time of 4:41.91a...competed in the outdoor 5000-meter run at the Florida State Relays, clocking a time of 15:56.79...also participated in the 3000-meter run during the outdoor season...posted a career-best unadjusted time of 9:06.75a at the Colorado Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in track and cross country...was also a member of the swimming and soccer teams.
PERSONAL: Son of Gerrold and Diane Heikkinen...goes by Tommy...has one older sister, Sarah... has twin younger sisters, Amy and Elizabeth...majoring in physics...future plans include becoming a F-22 pilot...member of the Air Force cross country team...member of Cadet Squadron 27.
