FRESHMAN YEAR | 2024-25: Competed in the shot put during 11 meets…recorded a career-best distance of 53’4¼” to debut at No. 22 on the program’s all-time indoor standings…recorded that throw during a sixth-place finish at the Jarvis Scott Open…recorded an outdoor-best distance of 52’7½” to win the Ari Force Twilight Open…surpassed 50 feet in three additional meets…also competed in the discus throw, recording a personal-best mark of 155’2” at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships…academic all-conference.
HIGH SCHOOL: Copley High School…two-time MVP of the track and field team…also earned the team’s Field MVP award twice…Suburban League MVP…finished second in the shot put at the Ohio state championships…two-time regional and two-time district champion in that event…captured five league titles, winning three in the shot put and two in the discus throw…lettered all four years…received the Spanish Student of the Year award…also earned the Souhail Bayachou Award for Science…graduated summa cum laude, with a 4.35 GPA
PERSONAL: Full name is Trevin Marcus Jordan…son of Brandon and Angela Jordan…father was a member of the track team at Ohio University…has one brother…planning to major in astronautical engineering…future plans include becoming a pilot or engineer…hobbies include fishing, backpacking, mountain biking, reading, lifting, and playing instruments (“I’m just as good at playing clarinet as I am throwing”)…devout Christian…favorite food is steak…grandfather served in the Army…member of Cadet Squadron 25.
