2006: Recorded a career-best distance of 35[apos]8½' in the weight throw at the Air Force Invitational during the indoor season...posted a season-best mark of 143[apos]6' in the discus throw at the Jack Christiansen Invitational...that was the fifth-farthest distance on the team...also recorded a career-best 119[apos]7' in the hammer throw in Boulder.
2005: Was a member of the Air Force football team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Finished third in the discus at the Oklahoma state championships...also played football...earned first-team all-state honors at defensive end...named first-team all-district at offensive tackle...class treasurer...member of the National Honor Society...class valedictorian.
PERSONAL: Son of Tom and Patty Trujillo...has one younger sister Taryn (16)...hobbies include playing sports and scuba diving.
