AIR FORCE HIGHLIGHTS

NCAA Qualifier, Discus Throw (2021)

JUNIOR YEAR | 2021-22: Led the team in the shot put during an indoor season…recorded the 11th-best distance in Academy history (career-best 55’10¼”) during a winning performance at the Air Force Collegiate Open…also finished first at the Invitational at the Peak meet (53’11¼”)…scored for the Falcons in the discus throw at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships…recorded a throw of 177’2” to finish fourth at the conference meet…tallied a season-best distance of 178’0” to win the Jerry Quiller Classic…named MW Field Athlete of the Week following that meet…competed in the shot put during three outdoor meets, recording a season-best 50’5¼” at the Beach Invitational.

SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2020-21: NCAA qualifier in the discus throw…accounted for the fifth-best distance in Academy history (180’9”) to place third at the Drake Relays…that distance is also a new Sophomore Class Record...named Mountain West Field Athlete of the Week following that meet…earned all-conference honors following a third-place finish at the MW Outdoor Championships (178’6”)…also scored for the Falcons in the shot put at the conference meet (sixth, 50’9½”)…recorded a team-leading, outdoor-best distance of 51’5” to win the Air Force Twilight Open…competed in the shot put during seven indoor meets...threw a career-best 52’9½” to take second at the Wyoming Power Meet…collected first-place finishes at the Air Force Holiday Open (51’7¼”) and UCCS Open (50’10¼”)…scored for Air Force at the Championships at the Peak (seventh) with a throw of 52’5¼”...claimed the team’s Most Improved Award.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2019-20: Competed in the shot put during five indoor meets...recorded a career-best 46’0½” to finish within the top half of the field at the Air Force Collegiate Open (seventh).

HIGH SCHOOL: Bellbrook High School...two-time conference champion in the shot put and discus throw...district champion in the discus...also finished sixth in that event at the state championships...did not throw as a senior after suffering a torn ACL...also competed in football...first-team all-conference selection in 2017-18...also named second team all-Southwest Ohio...member of the drone racing team that finished fourth at the regional meet and qualified to the national championships.

PERSONAL: Full name is Hayden Cooper Bullock...nickname is Bull...son of Mike Bullock and Nikki Lasota...father played football at the University of Cincinnati and mother played softball at Wittenberg University...has two younger siblings...majoring in management...future plans include becoming an officer in the Space Force...can solve a Rubix Cube and do a toe touch...hobbies include playing football, listening to music and hanging out with friends...both grandfathers served in the Army Air Corps during World War II…member of Cadet Squadron 28.
