JUNIOR YEAR | 2022-23: Earned all-conference honors in the javelin throw after finishing third at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships…recorded a career-best distance of 204’7” during that bronze medal performance…became the 21st thrower in program history to eclipse the 200-foot barrier…won the Dan Caprioglio Early Bird Invitational with a (then-best) throw of 192’0”…MW Scholar-Athlete.
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2021-22: Competed in the javelin throw during seven meets…recorded a career-best throw of 185’8” at the Air Force Twilight Open…won that event at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (182’0”)…claimed top-five finishes in four of the seven competitions…academic all-conference selection…MW Scholar-Athlete.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2020-21: Did not compete for the Air Force track and field team.
HIGH SCHOOL: La Grande High School…district champion in the javelin throw as a junior…state qualifier…also competed in wrestling and football…two-time state qualifier in wrestling…member of the football team that won the state title as a senior…valedictorian.
PERSONAL: Full name is Keith Allen Oswald…son of Gene and Jessika Oswald…has two younger sisters…majoring in civil engineering…future plans include becoming a pilot…currently serving as Operations Flight Commander…hobbies include hunting, fishing, backpacking, and hanging out with friends…favorite food is breakfast burritos…served as Flight Commander for Field Engineering Readiness Laboratory (FERL) over the summer…member of Cadet Squadron 32.
