High School/Prep: A three-time all-state selection and 2022-23 all-academic honoree, Clara Tiegland finished her senior year at Treynor High School the 32nd-ranked prospect in the state of Iowa … At the close of her scholastic playing career the 5’10” guard averaged 16.8 points, 5.1 assists, 6.4 rebounds and an eye-popping 5.6 steals per game … Tiegland, along with a four-year letter in basketball, played two years as a forward on the varsity soccer team, earning all-state recognition both years … Tiegland finished fifth in the state as a sophomore in cross country, and lettered twice in track, winning state champion in both 400 and 100 hurdles as a senior, while also medaling in both the 4x2 and shuttle hurdle … Tiegland graduated as the 2023 valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA.
