High School/Prep: Walsh, the 2022-23 team captain for USAFA Prep, averaged 11.4 points and 5.1 rebounds in a 78-game career at Joilet West HS from 2019-22 ... As a junior, Walsh posted double-digit figures in 21 of the Tigers’ 30 games, leading Joilet West to an untouched 16-0 finish in the Southwest Prairie-East conference on the way to a regional finals run … Walsh, a two-time all-state, four-time all-area and three-time all-conference selection, led Joilet West on a three-year run which culminated in three conference championships, two regional titles and a 42-1 record against conference opponents.
