HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years in basketball and two in soccer…as a senior, led Southridge to 6A State Championship, earning second-team all-state, second-team all-state tournament (6A) and first-team all-league…first-team all-league (6A) as a junior and second team all-league as a sophomore…first-team all-league (3A) as a freshman…high school basketball coach was Michael Bergmann…played club ball for the NW Stars, coached by Angie Sun and Michael Meek.
PERSONAL: Cadet Squadron 10 .... daughter of Dave and Shauna (deceased) Immel…has two brothers…father played basketball at UCLA…intends to major in management with a minor in Spanish …future career plan is to become an Air Force intel officer…Why I decided to come to the Academy: “I wanted to be somewhere that challenged me not only academically, but helped me grow as a person while also being able to play basketball at a high level.” …hobbies are sports/working out, listening to music and video games…began playing basketball at age seven…credits her dad as having the biggest influence on her sports career…dream vacation spot is Australia…most notable thing about her hometown is its headquarters for Nike…enjoys listening to all types of music…favorite TV show is Game of Thrones…favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption…favorite class subject is science…favorite player is Stephen Curry and favorite team is the Golden State Warriors…something not many people know about her is that she can solve a Rubik’s Cube in one minute.
