High School/Club: Graduated from Texas Connections Academy in Houston, TX…Nominated for Student Excellence/Most Outstanding Student in Houston ISD…Graduated fourth in her class…Dove for the Woodlands Diving Academy Club for four years…3x USA zones qualifier…Qualified for USA Junior Nationals…Placed top five on the 3m at AAU Nationals…
Personal: Member of cadet squadron 05…Daughter of Leonardo and Noreen Rojas…Has one brother, Nathan…Intended major is biology…Nickname is “G”…She was born in Clovis, Calif…Credits her coach, Kenny for having the greatest impact on her athletic career, “He is more than just a coach, he is a mentor…Everything that is done with him is done with purpose that will resonate with something in real life. Humility, confidence, leadership skills, followership skills, keeping calm under pressure, etc… are all skills needed to be successful in this sport and in outside life”…Some people may not know she attended neuroscience camp where she dissected a cow brain and sheep eye…Enjoys embroidery…Used to be a gymnast…She chose to attend the Academy because, “Of its blend of next-level opportunities, unparalleled leadership training, and an amazing Div. I collegiate swimming and diving program. USAFA emphasizes the importance of character development which is something I truly value. This is exactly the kind of environment that creates winners and resilient learners.”
