Three-time All-American and 2011 NCAA Wrestling National Champion Dustin Kilgore enters his fourth season as the Air Force wrestling volunteer assistant coach for the 2020-21 season. The Berea, Ohio native is also a four-time MAC champion and boasts the accolade of being the only national champion Kent State has ever produced in wrestling.
While also helping in the coaching and mentoring efforts of Air Force wrestlers, Kilgore is the head of the Air Force Regional Training Center, which brings in elite athletes who aspire to become All-American, National, World, and Olympic champions to train at the Academy.
After earning his bachelor's in criminal justice at Kent State, Kilgore broadened his wrestling resume by earning a silver medal at the World University Championships in 2014. He is a four-time USA National Team member. He placed third at 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials and continued on to become a 2016 Bill Farrell International champion and a 2017 Dave Schultz Memorial International champion
Kilgore currently resides in Colorado Springs with his wife Abby and their sphynx cat, Koshka.
