Clay Lavigne

Clay Lavigne joined the football strength and condition staff at Air Force in 2025. Lavigne comes to the Academy from Kent State, where he was on the sports performance staff since February 2023 overseeing the training of baseball, track & field Jumpers, multiple’s, pole vaulters and assisting with football.
Prior to Kent State, he was at Eastern New Mexico University as the assistant AD for sports performance where he oversaw the sports performance department where he was directly responsible for the training of football and volleyball.
Prior to ENMU, he served as the assistant director of strength and conditioning at the University of Sioux Falls (SD) working with baseball, volleyball, women’s soccer, men’s basketball and football. He also oversaw the internship program and the implementation of sports science for the department.
Lavigne also was a graduate assistant in football strength and conditioning at Troy University (AL) from 2019-21. With the Trojans, he oversaw the nutrition center, ran mobility sessions, taught drills, and assisted the overall growth of the department. Prior to this time at Troy, he completed strength and conditioning internships with Mississippi State University football and University of Wyoming football.
Lavigne and his wife, Erin, reside in Colorado Springs.
