Falcon Swimmers Defeat Wyoming in Final Home Meet

Senior sprinter Charlie Toth won two races for Air Force, the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events, recording times of 20.99 and 47.12 seconds, respectively. Sophomore Nate Amidon posted a season-best time of 1:43.79 in winning the 200 freestyle, while freshmen Paul Brehm (200 backstroke) and Kevin Heath (200 breaststroke) also were victorious for Air Force, now 9-3 overall and 2-1 in conference meets.
Damian Storz led the Cowboys by winning the 500 freestyle, the 1,000 freestyle and the 200 individual medley. Oscar Delgado swept both diving events, scoring 298.70 points in the 1-meter springboard, and 284.60 in the 3-meter event.
Air Force travels to Denver on Wednesday, Jan. 24 to face the DU Pioneers, before resuming Mountain West Conference action in Las Vegas against UNLV on Saturday, Jan. 27.
