UMass Beats Air Force In Dual Meet

All Air Force Academy home and away intercollegiate athletic events will be held as scheduled during the government shutdown. Funding for these events, along with travel/logistical support will be provided by the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). Updates to this website will be significantly reduced and delayed. There will be no video streaming of home athletic events.

The Air Force men's gymnastics team fell in a dual meet Saturday evening at UMass, 208.900 - 197.250. The Falcons won the still rings event (34.700) and C2Cs (Jr.) Aaron Jackson and William Hermann finished second (50.600) and third (47.000) all around.

On still rings, Jackson took first (9.050), followed by C1Cs (Sr.) Stephen Sistare, who finished second (9.000), and Matthew Kenkel who tied for third (8.750). C1C James Hayes secured a second-place finish on vault (9.150) and placed third on pommel horse.

Air Force will be back in action Feb. 23 at the Service Academy Championships in Tampa, Fla.
