Ryan Jacobsen Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. -- Air Force sophomore gymnast Ryan Jacobsen was named to the 2026 Academic All-District At-Large Team this morning (June 16), as the College Sports Communicators announced its list of honorees from the 2025-26 season.
Jacobsen is the first member of the men's gymnastics team to earn academic all-district honors.
The second-year gymnast from Elk Grove, Calif., holds a 3.71 GPA as a data science major at the Academy. Jacobsen competed on the pommel horse and still rings in seven meets, tallying career-best scores in both events during the team finals of the USAG Collegiate Nationals (12.850 PH, 13.100 SR). His National Qualifying Average of 12.475 placed him among the nation's top 50 on the still rings, while he was named an alternate to the NCAA Gymnastics Championships.
The men's academic all-district at-large team includes student-athletes from fencing, golf, gymnastics, hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling. To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, the individual must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) and meet sport-specific criteria determined by the CSC.
