Falcons Take Second In Home Meet

U.S.A.F.A., Colo.- The Air Force men's gymnastics team placed second in a triangular meet with the Univ. of Illinois-Chicago and Stanford Univ. in the Cadet Gymnasium's West Gym Friday evening. Stanford finished first with a team score of 209.750, followed by Air Force (203.150) and UIC (201.100).
C2C (Jr.) Aaron Jackson tied for second on floor (8.900), tied for third on rings (8.850) and finished second all around (50.750). C1C (Sr.) Matthew Kenkel tied for second on pommel horse (8.450), took second on parallel bars (8.700) and finished sixth all around (42.500). C1C James Hayes followed Kenkel and finished eighth all around (41.250) and placed first on pommel horse (8.550).
The Falcons host their final home meet of the regular season Sunday afternoon when they take on UIC in dual meet action at 1 p.m. in the Cadet Gymnasium's West Gym.
