Men's Gymnastics Take Fourth At USAGs

The Air Force men's gymnastics team finished fourth at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships last weekend in Springfield, Mass. The Falcons finished with a team score of 203.025 behind William & Mary (208.575) who took first, UC Santa Barbara (207.875) and Navy (207.825). Springfield College finished fifth with a score of 202.000 followed by Southern Connecticut State Univ. (197.775), Vermont (170.750) and MIT (142.200).
Aaron Jackson finished third all-around and second on floor exercise for Air Force. Jackson also took fourth on vault and third on parallel bars, followed by senior Matthew Kenkel who finished fourth. Stephen Sistare finished fifth on rings for the Falcons.
Air Force finished the regular season 2-15. The Falcons took fifth at the MPSF Men's Gymnastics Championships and sent five gymnasts to the NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championships in Norman, Okla., hosted by the Univ. of Oklahoma.
