Falcons Tie for 13th Place at Shangrila Shootout

Final Stats

The Air Force golf team finished with a three-round total of 910 (304-302-304) to finish tied for 13th place at the Shangrila Shootout. Freshmen Tyler Goulding and Benjamin Jackman had tied for 32nd place, the team's best finish.

Austin Peay University won event, which was hosted by Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla.

It was the final tune up for the Falcons before the annual Service Academies classic on Oct. 17-18. Air Force will compete against Army, Navy and the Merchant Marines. The team will be looking to retain the tournament title, which they've won eight consecutive years.
