A steady rain Friday in Millington, Tenn., forced the postponement of Air Force's baseball game against the University of Memphis in the annual Service Academies Spring Classic. The game will be played on Saturday, Feb. 22, weather permitting.
The first game of the tournament was completed on Friday as Illinois defeated Kansas State, 10-7. The game between Arkansas and Navy was in the bottom of the fourth inning with the Razorbacks leading 1-0 when the rain started.
The Air Force - Memphis game follows the conclusion of the Arkansas - Navy game, which tournament officials hope will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The teams will play a full nine innings, then the rest of Saturday's games will be seven innings. Air Force will play Navy immediately following its game against Memphis.
The Falcons' final game of the tournament will be against Kansas State on Sunday at 9 a.m.
