Air Force is 22-6 overall and finished 12-2 in the Mountain West Conference. North Carolina is 18-10 overall and finished 8-8 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Recent Results
Air Force lost to Colorado State, 60-48, in the first round of the Mountain West Conference Championships last Thursday. North Carolina dropped a 83-82 decision to Georgia Tech in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament last Friday.
Coaches
Air Force is coached by Joe Scott (Princeton, 1987), who is in his fourth season with the Falcons. He has a 51-62 record in his tenure at Air Force. Scott came to AFA from his alma mater, Princeton, where he was an assistant coach from 1993-2000.
North Carolina is coached by Roy Williams (North Carolina, 1972), who is in his first season with the Tar Heels. He has a career record of 436-111 in his 16th season as a collegiate head coach. Williams spent the previous 15 seasons as the head coach at Kansas.
