Falcons Set Season High in Loss at Army

WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Backed by Brian Moore's first-place finish in the all-around, the Air Force men's gymnastics team set a season-best score of 183.900 in a dual meet with service academy rival Army on Sunday, Feb. 5.
Army won the dual meet by a score of 207.100 to improve to 4-1 on the season.
Moore scored a season-best 45.100 in the all-around, backed by a team-leading best of 8.300 on the parallel bars.
Sophomore Brian Boardman led the team on the floor exercise by scoring an 8.400. In addition, he posted Air Force's highest score on the pommel horse, recording a 7.950. Junior Kurt Antonio also led the squad on a pair of events, scoring a 7.350 on the still rings and an 8.700 on the vault.
Sophomore Jon Roberts topped the team on the high bar, garnering an 8.000 from the judges.
Air Force is off for a week as they prepare for the All-Academy Championships, which will be held in Aliso Viejo, Calif., on Saturday, Feb. 18.
