Falcons Head To Wolf Pack Classic

The Air Force golf team is back in action this week, Oct. 2-3, at the Wolf Pack Classic, hosted by Nevada. The tournament will take place at the 7,100-yard, par 72 Wolf Run Golf Course. The 54-hole tournament features two rounds on Monday, with the final round on Tuesday. Each day will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. (PT).
Scouting the Falcons... Air Force is coming off a 20th-place finish at the Tucker Invitational, hosted by New Mexico.
The Falcons' top finisher in the tournament was senior Tyler Goulding, who finished at 222 (+6) to come in tied for 23rd place. Meanwhile, other competitors for Air Force included freshman Tom Whitney, senior Chad Follett, junior Bob Whitney and sophomore Shaun O'Bryant.
The Field... Eighteen teams are slated to compete in this year's invitational, including Mountain West rivals Colorado State, Utah and Wyoming. The full list, with Golfweek/Sagarin ratings in parentheses, follows: Air Force (134), Arkansas (51), Boise State (167), Colorado State (53), Denver (107), Fresno State (97), Gonzaga (163), Hawaii (94), Iowa State (68), Kansas State (52), Louisiana-Monroe (156), Nevada (118), New Mexico State (93), Southern Utah (141), Texas-Arlington (121), UTEP (103), Utah (104) and Wyoming (201).
