Falcons Travel To UNLV
The Air Force women's soccer team travels to UNLV, the Mountain West Conference's first-place team, for its lone match of the week. The Falcons take on Rebels this Friday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. PST. Internet live stats will be available for the game.
Last Week
Air Force lost 2-1 to Utah in overtime last Thursday and lost 3-0 at home to BYU on Saturday.
UNLV won a pair of overtime matches last week, defeating New Mexico, 2-1, and TCU, 1-0.
Streaks
Air Force has a seven game losing streak.
UNLV has a three game winning streak and six game unbeaten streak.
Last Meeting
The Falcons lost 2-0 at home to UNLV on Oct. 20, 2006.

UNLV has one player on its team from Colorado. Senior Armani Rice is a native of Parker and attended Smoky Hill high school where she was teammates with Air Force sophomore Caitlin Lynch.

Air Force is coached by Marty Buckley (Chico State, 1978) who is 110-179-19 in his 16th season at the Academy.
UNLV is coached by is coached by Katherine Mertz (NC State, 1998) who is 30-21-11 in her third year.
Series Histories
Air Force is 4-8 all-time against UNLV. Air Force and UNLV first played in 1998, a 2-1 loss at the Academy. The Rebels have won the last six meetings. Air Force's last win over UNLV came in 2000, a 4-1 win in Las Vegas.
Air Force Team Leaders
Senior Katherine Slogic leads the team with three goals scored. Junior Rachael Emory is second on the team with two goals and five points. Sophomore Ashlee Curtis has started three of the last four games in goal for the Falcons. For the season, Curtis has appeared and started in five matches and has a 2.35 goals against average in 459 minutes. She has a team-leading 30 saves.
Scouting UNLV
UNLV enters the weekend with a 8-3-5 record and is first in the conference with a 3-0-1 record. Senior forward Katie Carney leads the team with five goals and six assists. Sophomore Alicia Lugo has started 15 of 16 games for UNLV and has a 0.64 GAA to go with 70 saves and six shutouts on the season.
