Falcons Finish Day Two At MWC Championship

Tucson, Ariz. - After two days of action, the Air Force golf team sits in ninth place at the Mountain West Conference Championship, being held at the par-71, 7,136-yard Catalina Course at Tucson National. BYU remains atop the team leaderboard at 560 (-8), while UNLV's Seung-su Han sits atop the individual leaderboard at 136 (-6).
The Falcons struggled somewhat on day two, firing a 314, and now sit at 612. Senior Tyler Goulding (Tracy, Calif.) posted the team's best round on Friday, shooting a 77 in round two, and now sits tied for 21st at 147. Andrew Gibson (So., San Ramon, Calif.) and Bob Whitney (Jr., La Quinta, Calif.) are currently tied for 38th at 156, while sophomore Shaun O'Bryant (Colorado Springs, Colo.) sits a stroke behind at 157. Rounding out the group for Air Force is senior Chad Follett (El Paso, Texas) who sits at 161.
The final round of the MWC Championship is slated to begin tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. (PT).
