Air Force hosts Falcon Invitational
The Air Force women's soccer hosts the Falcon Invitational this weekend, Sept. 28-30, at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. The Falcons take on North Dakota State on the 28th and UC Irvine on the 30th.

Friday, Sept. 28
Northern Colorado vs. UC Irvine - 5 p.m.
North Dakota State vs. Air Force - 7 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 30
North Dakota State vs. Northern Colorado - 11 a.m.
UC Irvine vs. Air Force - 1 p.m.
Last Week
Air Force lost a pair of matches at the Idaho State Classic last weekend. The Falcons lost a 1-0 overtime match to Northern Iowa on Friday and 1-0 to Idaho State on Sunday. Christin Brodie, Ashley Collins and Erin Wallace were named to the all-tournament team.
North Dakota State had last weekend off. The Bison defeated Creighton, 3-2, and Green Bay, 1-0, in the previous week.
UC Irvine lost 2-1 in overtime to San Diego in its only match last weekend.
Streaks
Air Force has a three-game losing streak. NDSU has a two-game winning streak. UCI has a one-game losing streak.

UC Irvine enters the weekend with a 4-2-1 record. The Anteaters are led by sophomore defender Kate Berrini, who leads the team with four goals and an assist for nine points. Freshman Danielle de Seriere has started six games for UCI, logging a 0.32 GAA to go with 25 saves.

Air Force opens Mountain West Conference play next week at TCU. The Falcons take on the Horned Frogs, Saturday, Oct. 6, in Fort Worth, Texas.
