Rogers had a stellar afternoon of competition in the Falcons' second dual meet with Centenary on Sunday, Jan. 20. She won the all-around with a career-best 38.225 and the floor exercise with another personal-best mark of 9.825. The 9.825 on the floor was the highest score given by the judges on any event. She also tallied career-best marks on the balance beam (9.450) and uneven bars (9.350), while narrowly missing a career high on the vault by just .050.
After finishing third on the floor during Friday's first meet with Centenary, She improved her all of her season-best totals by at least .300 during Sunday's competition. A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Rogers led the Falcons in three of the four events on Sunday, helping Air Force to a team total that surpassed its best score from all of last year.
Rogers currently leads the MPSF on the floor exercise with an average score of 9.662.
The Falcons hit the road for the first time this season on Sunday, Jan. 20, as they travel to Denton, Texas, for a quadrangular meet with Denver, Maryland and host Texas Woman's University.
