Bridgett Murphy Earns All-MWC Women's Soccer Honors

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force freshman Bridgett Murphy earned All-Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer honors announced by the conference Tuesday evening. Murphy earned second team honors as a midfielder/forward.

One of the top freshmen in the conference, Murphy led Air Force with six goals scored on the season. Her six goals were the most by a freshman since Jennifer Rowland scored seven goals in 2001 and the most goals scored in a season since Beth Boyer scored nine in 2001. Murphy is also the first Air Force freshman to garner all-conference honors since Rowland.

Air Force recently concluded the 2008 season with a 3-14 record.
