Falcons Wrap Up First Day of Action at Tyson Invite

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Several members of the Air Force track and field team concluded competition during the first day of action at the prestigious Tyson Invitational on Friday, Feb. 15. Competing at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark., the Falcons faced off with athletes from nearly 90 programs around the country.
Senior David Lissy earned the best finish of the day, as he placed 12th in the shot put with a toss of 53'10½".
Junior Kellen Curry placed 31st in the 60-meter hurdles, after crossing the finish line in 8.20. Freshman Terry Robinson and junior Skylar Morgan placed 42nd (8.37) and 45th (8.47), respectively, in that event. Senior Travis Picou picked up a 34th-place time of 6.90 in the 60-meter dash, while freshman LD Woods clocked 6.99 to finish 54th.
The Falcons continue action tomorrow (Feb. 16) at the Tyson Invitational.
