Air Force Drops 1-0 Overtime Heartbreaker at TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas - The Air Force women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 overtime match at TCU Thursday morning at Garvey Rosenthal Stadium. The loss dropped the Falcons to 2-10-1, 0-2 and improved the Horned Frogs to 8-5, 1-0.
Michelle Nguyen's goal off a penalty kick in the 93rd minute lifted TCU to the win.
The loss overshadowed a gutsy effort from the Falcons, who limited the Horned Frogs, the Mountain West Conference's top scoring team, to just three shots on goal.
Air Force had five shots in the game, with five different Falcon taking a shot. Sophomore Ariana Green had two saves in all 93 minutes in goal for AFA.
Air Force returns to action Saturday, Oct. 10, at New Mexico. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m.
