Air Force Falls To Bradley, 62-45

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force dropped a 64-62 women's basketball game to Bradley Saturday afternoon at Clune Arena. The loss dropped the Falcons to 2-8 on the season and lifted the Braves to 3-6.
After starting the game out neck-and-neck, Bradley pulled away late in the first-half and never looked back. With the game tied at 16 with eight minutes left in the first half, the Braves closed out the half with a 20-5 run to lead at the break 36-21.
Bradley dominated paint, out-rebounding Air Force 53-36 and blocking nine shots. The Braves' bench also accounted for 37 points, including two of their top three scorers. Mackenzi Westcott led all scorers with 15 points. Raisa Taylor was a perfect 6-for-6 from the field, scoring 13 points. Brooke Bisping added 11 points and Sonya Harris had 13 rebounds in just 13 minutes.
Air Force was led by freshman forward Dymond James. James scored a career-high 10 points and also led the team with seven rebounds. Junior guard Raimee Beck also scored 10 points and senior forward Kathleen Schjodt also pulled down seven rebounds. Sophomore guard Anna Gault had a game-high five assists.
Air Force returns to action Tuesday, Dec. 22 at Navy. Tipoff is 7 p.m. EST.
