Falcons Travel to Fox Run Invitational

The Air Force women's gymnastics team travels to Durham, N.H., for the Fox Run Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 14. The Falcons will face Bridgeport, New Hampshire and Yale at the Lundholm Gymnasium on the UNH campus. It will be Air Force's second meet of the season against Bridgeport and New Hampshire.

SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
All three teams competed last weekend. Bridgeport picked up a victory at Brown, while New Hampshire and Yale competed at multi-team meets. A complete scouting report can be found on page 2 of this release.
YOU LOOK FAMILIAR
The Falcons faced off against Bridgeport and New Hampshire at the Pittsburgh Invitational on Jan. 17. New Hampshire won the four-team meet, with a score of 194.025, while Bridgeport and Air Force finished third (188.475) and fourth (186.900), respectively.
LAST TIME OUT
Despite posting its second-highest score of the season, the Falcons dropped a four-point decision at Centenary on Feb. 6. Air Force nearly reached the 190-point mark for the second time in five days, but ultimately fell by a 192.800-189.550 margin.
MAKING IT LOOK EASY ... IN THE BIG EASY
Jenna Dudley was the Falcons' lone event on Feb. 6, placing first on the balance beam with a career-best 9.675. The freshman was also the top finisher for Air Force on the uneven bars (9.800) and all-around (38.825), tallying career-best marks on both.
A CAREER-BEST NIGHT
Jenna Dudley wasn't the only member of the Falcons' gymnastics team to score a career-high mark on Feb. 6. Sophomore Lisa Wong scored a career-best 9.650 on the balance beam to tie for second, while junior Aftan Boudreaux upped her personal-high mark on the uneven bars by .125 to tie for fourth (9.775). Wong also bettered her marks on the bars (9.400) and all-around (37.850), while freshman Samantha Jones improved her score on the bars to 9.600.
GOING BY RANK...
Freshman Jenna Dudley leads the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation on the floor exercise with an average of 9.730, while tallying third and fourth-place finishes on the uneven bars (9.635) and all-around (38.125), respectively. Abbey Rogers is ranked fourth on the vault (9.660) and in the all-around (38.125), while Lisa Wong is ranked fourth on the balance beam (9.530).
WHAT'S AHEAD FOR THE FALCONS
Air Force returns to the Academy on Thursday, Feb. 19, when they host Texas Woman's University, the reigning USAG national champions. The meet will start at 6 p.m., and be held in the Academy's Cadet West Gym. It is one of just two regular season meets remaining for the Falcons, before they host the MPSF Championships on March 20.
