Roni Yadlin Earns NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force senior Roni Yadlin was one of 29 recipients of NCAA's 2008 Fall Sports Postgraduate Scholarships. The team captain of the Falcon women's soccer team is slated to attend Oxford upon graduation.
Yadlin was a four-year letterwinner for the Air Force women's soccer team. As a senior, Yadlin was second on the team with four goals and nine points.
The Irvine, Calif., native is also a four-time Academic All-Mountain West Conference honoree. She recently earned a 2009 Sportswomen of Colorado Inspiration Award and is also a member of the 2008 CoSIDA ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team.
Yadlin is currently the 3rd group commander at the Academy, which is one of the top five cadet leadership positions within the cadet wing. Just recently, Yadlin earned the Holaday Scholarship to Oxford, where she will work towards a Masters of Philosophy (MPhil) in International Relations.
The one-time grants of $7,500 each are awarded for fall sports, winter sports and spring sports. Each sports season (fall, winter and spring), there are 29 scholarships available for men and 29 scholarships available for women. The scholarships are one-time, non-renewable grants.
