Phaelen French Opens Competition at Glenn Morris Multi-Meet

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Freshman Phaelen French opened competition in the heptathlon at the Glenn Morris Multi-Meet in Fort Collins, Colo., this afternoon (April 23). In her collegiate heptathlon debut, French currently sits in fifth, with 2,135 points.
She tallied a pair of fifth-place scores in the shot put (31'8½") and 200-meter dash (27.66), in addition a two seventh-place tallies in the 100-meter hurdles (17.99) and high jump (4'6").
French will conclude action tomorrow (April 24) at the Glenn Morris Heptathlon in Fort Collins. In addition, select Falcons will also compete at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational in Berkeley, Calif., while the 4x1600-meter relay team will run at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, tomorrow afternoon.
