Falcons Falter at Pacific, 3-0

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Air Force women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 match at Pacific Sunday afternoon at Stagg Stadium. The loss dropped the Falcons to 2-8-1 and improved the Tigers to 6-3-2.
Pacific scored two early goals to lead 2-0 at the half. Angelica Figueroa scored the first goal in the 15th minute off a penalty kick and Kristina Wavomba scored the second goal in the 23rd. Chyanne Alejado assisted on the second score.
The Tigers tacked on a third goal just one minute into the second half, as Kellie Nakahara scored in the 46th minute. Kylee Ah Choi assisted on the score.
Air Force had four shots in the match, with freshman Stephanie Patterson recording the lone shot on goal. Sophomore Ariana Green recorded five saves in the start at goalkeeper.
Air Force returns to action Friday, Oct. 2, hosting Wyoming in its Mountain West Conference-opener. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m.
