Air Force Pair Concludes Action at Mt. SAC Relays

WALNUT, Calif. - Air Force seniors Sara Neubauer and Nick Frawley wrapped up the track and field team's action at the 52nd annual Mt. SAC Relays on Saturday, April 17, with competition during the "invitational" rounds of the shot put, discus throw and pole vault.
One of only three collegiate runners in the shot put field, Neubauer opened the day with a throw of 51'4" to finish fifth overall. She also finished third among collegiate throwers (10th overall) in the discus throw, as she recorded a toss of 167'6".
In the pole vault, Frawley cleared a season-best height of 17'4½" to tie for sixth overall. His clearance was the second-best among collegiate competitors.
The Falcons will split up for a pair of meets next weekend. Select Falcons will travel to Des Moines, Iowa, for the prestigious Drake Relays, while the rest of the squad travels to Laramie, Wyo., for a dual meet with their conference foes.
